Peter Burnett

Peter Hardeman Burnett (November 15th 1807 - May 17th 1895) was the first governor of the California, between the December 20th 1849 and the January 9th 1851. It had before the function of military and territorial governor of California, in December 1849. He died in San Francisco in 1895.
