Peter Brown (player of Rugby)
Peter Currie Brown , was born the December 16th 1941 in Troon (Scotland). It is a player of Rugby to XV which evolved/moved at the station of second line or number 8 for the team of West off Scotland R.F.C and that of Gala R.F.C, and to the international level for the team of Scotland of 1964 with 1973.
Family
Peter Brown belonged to a sporting family, his/her younger brother Gordon also played for the team of Scotland and it was even one of the best players. His/her father, Jock Brown played goalkeeper for the Équipe of Scotland of football and it also appeared on the Open of Scotland in Troon with the golf battling against Arnold Palmer.
In national team
It had its first international cape at the 22 years age the January 4th 1964, at the time of a match against the team of France.It is titular of the four matches of the tournament 1964, it plays only two matches of the tournament 1965, then it is not retained any more before making its return as from 1969. In 1970 his/her brother Gordon succeeds in gaining his place in the Scottish group for the Five Nations tournament 1970 and starts the part against the team of France. But it loses its place of holder against the Wales with the profit of Peter, who is the first to teach him the news! Gordon makes its entry at the half-time to replace Peter because of a wound, and it is the first time that a brother replaces his brother in an international match.
Peter is a member independent of the Court of Appeal of Scottish Rugby and it operates as police chief of match and discipline for at the same time the RBS Six Nations and the Coupe of Europe of Rugby to XV.
