Peter Baumann was born with Berlin the January 29th 1953. It is especially known to have been member of Tangerine Dream of 1972 with 1977 at the sides of Edgar Froese and Christopher Franke. It integrates the group during a hearing by producing a whole strange heap of effects starting from a cheap organ. The period during which Peter officiated within Tangerine Dream is regarded by many fans as one of most interesting. Leaving the group in 1977, it launches out in a career solo and the production of artists such Conrad Schnitzler. With beginning of the year 80, it settles in the United States. In 1985, giving up its career solo, it creates its own recording company, Private Music, in which one finds artists like Suzanne Ciani, Yanni, Patrick O' Hearn and even later Tangerine Dream. In the Nineties, it tries a return to the music but that does not succeed and in same time, it separates from Private Music, then disappears completely from the musical world.
