Peter Adkison
Peter D. Adkison is a American author of board games and one of the founders of the companies Wizards off the Coast and Hidden City Games .
He is also the current owner of the Gen Con, one of most important the festivals of plays of North America.
He was the Chief executive officer of Wizards off the Coast between 1993 and January 2001, date on which he resold the company with Hasbro for 325 million dollars, plus 175 other million distributed over the five following years. Adkison gained 2% of this sum and took 2 years sabatic.
In May 2002 it repurchases Gen Con with Hasbro.
In 2004 it creates with Jesper Myrfors a new handset, Clout Fantasy , which is announced as being the first set of tokens to be collected. Since 2005 it is CEO of Hidden City Games, the company publishing Clout Fantasy .
In its private life, Adkison is a large amateur of Roleplays, Dungeons & Dragons in particular as well as Escalade and of Snowboard
