Pete Wilson

Peter Barton Wilson (born in 1933) is an American politician, member of the Republican party, Maire of San Diego of 1971 with 1983, senator of California to the Congrès of the United States of 1983 with 1991 and 36ème governor of California of 1991 with 1999.

Pete Wilson was born the August 23rd 1933 with Lake Forest, Illinois.

Graduate of Yale in 1956, it is useful until in 1958 in the Corps of the Navy of the United States of America.

Wilson continues then his studies of right to Berkeley, the University of California and is graduate in 1962, year when it engages on the countryside of Richard Nixon for the station of governor of California.

In November 1990, Wilson is elected governor of California by beating Diane Feinstein, mayor of San Francisco and democratic candidate .
