Petaurus norfolcensis

The phalanger of Norfolk ( Petaurus norfolcensis ; in English: The Squirrel Glider ) is a flying possum of the family of the Petauridae. It is one of the flying squirrels of the kind Petaurus.

Like the majority of the flying squirrels, it is endemic in Australia. It is about twice larger than the Planeur of sugar ( Petaurus breviceps ).

It nourishes primarily fruits and insects. It can be let plane tree out of tree on about fifteen meters. It does not plane in captivity.
