Peschiera Maraglio

Peschiera Maraglio is a small village of fishermen, close to Monte Insulated, located on an island in the middle of the Lac of Iseo, in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy, Italy.

The historical center with the narrow streets visits itself only with foot. One can see there:

  • the church of San Michele, 17th century
  • the fortress of the Oldofredi, with the cylindrical keep, drawn up at the top of a rock face at the 12th century to protect the island.
