Peruvian general elections of 1985
The general elections Peruvian for the péríode 1985 - 1990 were held the April 14th 1985 to entirely renew the executive power and the legislative power.
At the conclusion of its elections, Alan García Pérez was elected President of the Republic.

Results
Alan García Pérez obtained 53,1% of the voices to the first turn, but with only 45,8% of the votes (50% were necessary to be elected with the first turn). For this reason, a second turn was to be organized vis-a-vis Alfonso Barring Lingán, but this last decided not to arise. The García June 1st was declared victorious and became president at the 36 years age. After 60 years of existence, its party reached the capacity.
Alfonso Barring Lingán 24,7%; Shine Bedoya Reyes 11,9%; Javier Alva Orlandini 7,3 %.
