Perth and Kinross

The Perthshire is an area of the center of the Scotland which corresponds to the old County of Perth.

It is located between Highland and Lowlands, partly on the solid mass of the Grampian Mountains intersected with valleys in which an agriculture based on the breeding developed (bovines, Mouton S,…). The area is crossed by Tay which is the largest river of Great Britain failing to be longest about it, which is explained by the important level of precipitations in the west of Scotland where Tay takes its source.
