Pertamina
Pertamina , abbreviation of Perusahaan Pertambangan Minyak daN Gas Bumi Negara (" government enterprise for the exploitation of oil and the gas naturel") is the oil company of State of the Indonesia. It was formed in August 1968 under the name of PN (abbreviation of perusahaan will negara : " company of Etat") Pertamina by the amalgamation of two companies of State, PN Pertamin (created in 1961) and PN Permina (created in 1957). Its name became simply " Pertamina" in 1971.
In 2003, Pertamina became a public limit company under the name of Pt Pertamina (Persero).
The activity of Pertamina covers the sectors " amont" (exploration and production) and " aval" (refining and distribution) of oil industry.
