Pertain is a common French, located in the department of the Somme and the area Picardy.

Geography

Pertain is located at the end Is of Santerre, with the crossroads of the European triangle Paris-London-Brussels, and with a few kilometers of the following infrastructures:

We find traces of the commune as from the first millenium. The village was called " Pertaing" and several other names, before finding the name Pertain. The village counted several hamlets, now disappeared, like " Mory" or " Sacy-Les-Pertain" , but some are encore-là, like Berseaucourt.
