Summary

Anne Elliot is a faded and erased beauty twenty-seven years. She is the girl of a widowed and pretentious baronnet. Too having spent, this last must rent its property of Kellynch, and go to live in Bath. The field is thus rented with the admiral Croft and his wife. While Mr. Elliot and his Elizabeth oldest daughter leave for Bath, Anne settles a time in her Mary sister, not far from Kellynch.

At this point in time the Captain Wentworth, the brother of Mrs reappears. Croft. It was promised in marriage to Anne of the years before. Lady Russell, the protective one and intimate friend of Anne, had disadvised this union to him, because it estimated that the young man, naval officer poor but ambitious, was not of the same row than it. She had thus persuaded it to break her engagement.

But from now on the things changed, Frederick Wentworth is rich, and he seeks to marry… Its attention seems to go towards the young ladies Musgrove, the sisters-in-law of Mary, while he pretends to ignore Anne… But did he really forget it?
