Persei epsilon

Epsilon Persei (ε Per/ε Persei) is a star third magnitude of the Constellation of Persée. It, on rare occasions, is called by the traditional name Adid Australis , meaning " The star of the south of the arm supérieur" Pleiads , in Arab.

Epsilon Persei is in fact a multiple star system made up of two principal components: a blue star of the principal sequence of standard B0.5V and magnitude 2,90, and a weaker white partner of type A2V and magnitude 3,92. The stellar system Epsilon Persei is located at approximately 540 light-years of the Ground.
