Perry Como

Perry Como (Pierino Ronald Como), born with Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, the May 18th 1912, deceased the May 12th 2001, was a singer, an actor and an American presenter of television .

His/her parents, Pietro Como and Lucia Travaglini Como were immigrants originating in Palena in Italy.

After having worked in a hairdressing salon and even, after having assembled his own hairdressing salon, Perry Como begins a professional path of singer in 1933 and, the same year, Marie with Roselle Belline, which will die in 1998 after sixty-five years of marriage.

He will make party of this generation of large American singers of Italian origin as well as Franck Sinatra or Frankie Laine.
