Pernilla August
Pernilla August (born Mia Pernilla Wallgren the February 13rd 1958 with Stockholm) is a Swedish Actrice .
She is known primarily for the role of Shmi Skywalker which she played in the episodes I and II of the saga Star Wars . She obtained the price of interpretation to Cannes in 1992 to have played the part of the mother of Ingmar Bergman in the film the Best Intentions of Bille August (realizer of which she was the wife). She had already worked with Bergman on Fanny and Alexandre .
