A permanent tooth or final tooth is a tooth intended to remain all the life in mouth.
Some succeed teeth baby (all except the molars).
Description

Chronology
The first final tooth makes its eruption towards 5-6 years: it is the first molar (" tooth of 6 ans"). The last one towards 12-13 years; it is generally a premolar. (without counting the wisdom teeth, being able to appear up to 18 years).
The beginning of the calficication of the final teeth is done as of the birth.
The tooth makes its eruption when two thirds of its root are formed.

- First premolar: eruption with 10-11 years
- Second premolar: eruption with 10-12 years
- First molar: eruption at 6 years
- Second molar: eruption at 12 years
- Third molar: eruption with 18-25 years
