Perfecto

The Perfecto is a wind-breaker in Cuir stiff and thick created in 1915 with the the United States by the Schott firm and manufactured by this same firm starting from 1928 as being the first wind-breaker for Motard S because of his character indéchirable in the event of fall.

It has a cut specific with a closing crossed to Zipper on the front, thus doubling the thickness of leather for better protecting the chest; pressures make it possible to fold back the collar to prevent that it does not beat in the wind and one empiècement in the back to fix the girdles which makes it possible to maintain the wind-breaker on the kidneys.

Although the majority of the perfectos are selected of black color, there are also chestnuts, reds, white, etc One can as meet wind-breakers having a cut perfecto conceived in other materials as leather, like the jean or the Vinyle.

Its name of Spanish origin comes to him from the Cigare S Cuba ins Perfecto which the leader of the company smoked which created it.

Generally very resistant, the perfectos were initially used like protection by the Motard S, before becoming one of the elements of the uniform of the Rocker (often covered with badges in the Eighties) in the Années 1950 and at the beginning of 1960, under the influence of actors like Marlon Brando ( Equipped wild the 1953), Michael Pare or James Dean. In the years 1970, the series Happy Days , whose history is in years 1950/60, the perfecto via the character of Fonzie popularizes again. It is as in the Années 1970, with the explosion of the movement Punk as the perfecto répend again, via groups as the Ramones or turbulent the Sid Vicious, often modified with the sauce DIY: addition of nails, chains, badges and paintings with the effigy of groups or carrying claiming messages. One still finds it with the cinema in the years 1980, for example in the film Terminator. Nowadays the perfectos are used by the police officers motorcyclists in America.
