Percy Weasley

Percy Ignatus Weasley is a character of the saga Harry Potter, written by the writer J.K. Rowling.

Percy Weasley is wizard, it is the third wire of the family Weasley and was born on August 22nd, 1976. It is the ambitious member of the family and which wants only one: to leave poverty and to make a great career with the Ministry for the Magic. It is arrogant, a little theatrical and will be the only Weasley family member not to support Harry at the time of the return of Voldemort, following in that the line of the ministry.

Books

Volume 1

Percy is one of the large pupils of Poudlard; this year, it was appointed prefect of the house Gryffondor.

Volume 2

Always prefect, Percy is characterized by his insulation this year. It makes secret, locks up hours whole in its room and if he sees that some-thing does not go with Ginny, he very does not take it with the serious one. One learns at the end from the book that it has a boyfriend (préfète she also and petrified by the Basil during the year) by this same Ginny. For his/her brothers Fred and George, it is already Christmas…

Volume 3

This year, Percy was appointed prefect as a chief with Poudlard. It takes its role extremely in heart, seeking to make respect its authority. Alas, it makes it with such an amount of arrogance and as well contempt with respect to his other brothers and sister as those end up taking it in influenza, in particular the Fred twins and George who do not cease playing to him of the nasty tricks. (For example, its badge Prefect as an outstanding chief " Roquet in chef").

Volume 4

This year, Percy found work at the Department of the Magic Co-operation and is the personal assistant of Barty Croupton. It is shown extremely effective at its station and it tends to defy its owner. This too full with zeal will be prejudicial besides for him because he will not realize that Barty Croupton was subjected to the magic spell of imperium and no question about the absences prolonged of this one until its death will arise.

Volume 5

Frustrated by the poverty of its family, at the time of the return of Voldemort in 1995, he does not hesitate to treat Harry of liar and to give up his family to turn to the Ministère of the Magic and thus to appease his ambition. He thus manages to become personal assistant of the minister Cornelius Fudge. Percy sent a letter to Ron (his/her brother) when it knew that Ron was prefect, and is rapporteur at the time of the lawsuit in discipline of Harry.

Volume 6

In spite of the rehabilitation of Harry and the recognition of the wrongs of the ministry, Percy, too orgueuilleux, refuses to be reconciled with its family. It will visit them only one to Christmas at the instigation of the new Minister for the Magic which in fact wanted to discuss into private with Harry.

Volume 7

Realizing of its error while having believed the " bêtises" Ministère of the Magic, Percy joined the battle fields and is excused near its family if to be limited and egoistically ambitious and takes share with the final combat against Voldemort. It attends the death of his brother Fred and is really overpowered by its death, it leaves immediately - after having hidden the body of this one - to the continuation the Mangemort S to avenge it.
