Percy Hobart
Major-general Sir Percy Cleghorn Stanley Hobart (June 14th 1885 - February 19th 1957) was a military engineer British and the commander of the 79e Division armor-plated during the Second world war. He was responsible for several specialized armored vehicles (known under the name of Hobart' S Funnies ) which took part in the operation Neptune, i.e. the phase of attack of the operation Overlord at the time of the unloading in Normandy of combined in 1944.
He was in addition the brother-in-law of Bernard Montgomery.
