  • Constance III treats with Wallia: In exchange of deliveries of supply, Wallia restores the usurper Priscus Attale and Galla Placidia, girl of Théodose Ier and sister of Honorius that Alaric Ier had taken as an hostage and that his/her brother-in-law Athaulf, died into 415, had married.
  • the Visigoths continue their invasion of the Spain. Their king Wallia, paid by the emperor (600  000 measurements of corn) and with the head of 100  000 men, fights the Alains and the Vandales (416 - 429). The Vandales Silingues are exterminated, while Alains, the Suèves and the Vandales Asdingues are gathered in the North-West of the peninsula. The Suèves benefit from it to extend their domination towards the south, setting up a state of an extreme brutality.
