Pepsi-Cola

The Pepsi Cola or Pepsi is a Boisson gas, born with New Bern, State of North Carolina, the United States. It is marketed by the company PepsiCo.

History

1893 : Caleb D. Bradham, born in 1867, pharmacist with New Bern, in North Carolina, plagiarizes the receipt of the Coca-Cola invented by John Pemberton in 1886. The following year, the sales of Pepsi, sold six ounce the bottle, reached 19.848 gallons (75 133 liters). 1923 : The manufacturer of Pepsi goes bankrupt because of the high prices of the Sucre because of the First World War. Capital was sold and Roy C. Megargel repurchased brand name.

1931 : Pepsi fell down in bankruptcy. It was then repurchased per G. Guth, the president of the sugar company Loft Industries.

1936 with 1938 : During the economic crisis, the benefit of Pepsi doubled.

Marketing

In 1975, PepsiCo presents the selling campaign “the Pepsi challenge” where it established a blind sample between Pepsi-Cola and Coca-Cola, its rival. During these tests of tasting to the blind man, the majority of the participants selected Pepsi like better of two drinks.

Polemic

In 2003 and still in 2006, the Center for Science and the environment (CSE), an governmental organization of New Delhi noted that the drinks produced by manufacturers in India, including Pepsi and Coca-Cola, had a dangerously high level of Pesticide S in their drinks. PepsiCo and Coca-Cola Company supported that their drinks were sure for consumption and announced that the levels of pesticide in their products were lower than those of consumables current such as the The, the fruits or the dairy products.
