the People of the Grass is a group of Electronic music French formed in 1997 and originating in Lyon.

History

Le Peuple of Grass sees the day in 1997 pennies the impulse of Dj Pee and Dj Stani. Origin of the name

Le name of the group, “ the People of the Grass ”, comes from the Cannabis. During the creation of the group in 1997, the political situation in Europe seemed different and the members hoped for a de-penalization of the product in France. At that time, the logo of the group represents a dog holding a sheet of cannabis in the mouth. The musicians hid never and consume in particular on scène.
Concerning the title Reggaematic on the maximum of the same name, “ a piece which announces the color (green like the de-penalization) ”.
