Races and people of the imaginary world developed in film and the televised series of the universe Stargate.

; Abydossiens: Also called Abydoniens, they are the human inhabitants of Abydos, brought on this planet by the Large Master Râ to work like slaves in the mines of Naquadah. It is peaceful people, of which all the inhabitants are Élevés with the assistance of Oma Desala. ; Altairien S: Technologically advanced race, alive under the surface of an inhospitable planet to the life, in synthetic bodies. ; Old: It is the race which built the doors of the stars, from which the network extends in all the Milky Way and other galaxies with its circumference. Of human appearance but equipped with surprising capacities, the Old ones were members of the great alliance of the 4 races of the Milky Way. The Old ones go down from very former people, the Altérans. They are originating in a remote galaxy whose exact localization remains unknown. There be a scission at Altérans: the ones, called Ori, became increasingly fanatic and obscurantists compared to the religion; the Old ones, them, believed in science and the tolerance. It is there that the Old ones built the first doors of stars. Oris wished to also acquire the knowledge of the doors, but the Old ones preferred to maintain this secrecy. A war burst then between the two people. The Old ones were forced to flee and, after a long wandering, they arrived in our galaxy. They created the temple of Dakara, an exceptional monument able to create the life, or to destroy it. It is thanks to this temple which they installed the life in this star cluster which is the Milky Way. The Old ones were installed on the Earth, of tens of million years before our era. They are the ancestors of the men of today. Atlantis, a gigantic city being used as capital, was built in the Antarctic. They colonized then the Milky Way, installing the Doors of Stars on each livable planet by the man, which makes million worlds. Then, some million years ago, they were touched by a strange plague, actually sent by Oris. The majority of Old died and, thanks to their wisdom and to know to them, carried out the Rise (the Rise is a phenomenon consisting in leaving its carnal envelope to become pure energy, where the conscience is omniscient and omnipotent). The survivors exiled themselves in the Galaxy of PEGASE with the flying city of Atlantis, where they started again their civilizing work. Then, ten thousand years ago, they were overcome by a very powerful race nourishing vital energy of human, the Wraiths. Like last defense, the Old ones absorbed their city under the ocean. The Former survivors took refuge on Earth where some carried out the Rise. Their memory persisted and they were venerated like gods by the Romans. The Latin is a derivative of the language of Old ; Aschen: Populate enemy human appearance, founder of the Aschen Confederation. Advanced civilization, it makes pretense share its technologies with less powerful people to sterilize them and take possession of their planets. It probalement disappeared. ; Asgard: Peaceful and very advanced people, the members of this race point out the creature of Roswell. Friends of human, they discreetly study them since millenia. They took the appearance of the Scandinavian Gods to protect certain people from Goa' ulds. Combined laughed Tau', they is members of the alliance of the 4 races. Thanks to their great technology, Asgards managed to transport their consciences in bodies clones. But, during the millenia, their clones lost in quality. Thus, the bodies of Asgards became increasingly weak and degenerated. Their war against their worst enemies, the réplicateurs, do not improve the things. Finally, Asgards will die all in a generation of their physical degeneration. But, right before their inevitable end, they will bequeath all their knowledge to human of the Earth. ; Asurans: The asurans are the réplicateurs of the galaxy of PEGASE. They took the shape of their former Masters, the old ones, who made use of them like labor. When the old ones disappeared, they perdurés and developed their civilization during the last ten millenia. ; Athosien: Populate of Athos. When the team of Atlantis arrived Sr this world, major Sheppard activated by accident a beacon wraith, attracting them on Athos. Athosiens, led by Teyla Emmagan, evacuated their planet and found a new hearth on the continent of Lantea.

; Daganiens: Race met by the team of Atlantis at the time of a mission of search for a E2PZ. Formerly called Surdariens, they had been charged by the Old ones with keeping a E2PZ. Daganiens helped the team of Atlantis to find the E2PZ, but refused to give it to them, persuaded that the Old ones wanted that they continue to protect it.

; Fenris: Fenris are broad flying insects, that Teal' C described as being “large dragonflies with teeth”. Goa' ulds think that Fenris have faculty to be made invisible. Teal' C had been sent already by Apophis to capture one of these creatures but it had not succeeded. Because of its failure, Apophis had ordered the execution of two Jaffas under the orders of Teal' C. Sg-1 learned, thanks to the Nox, which Fenris did not have faculty to make invisible but that it was the Nox which made them invisible to protect them from abroad. The Nox refused to share their technologies with Sg-1 and the Door of Stars of planet Nox was decontaminated to prevent any other visit on their planet with an aim of acquiring their technology (see also: possible origin of the name on the artcile Fenris). ; Furling: Mysterious race, member of the alliance of the 4 races of stargate. One knows absolutely nothing it, except that a fraction of these people with formerly given up technology to turn over to nature. In the episode " 200" (autocaricatural and whimsical), they are represented in the biped shape of bear cub pointing out Ewooks.

; Goa'uld : Race of parasites taking the control of their host and being made pass for gods. They resemble eels called symbion, and live naturally in lakes. A symbion penetrates the human body and is rolled up around the cervical vertebrae to take the absolute control of its host. They can also make in the same way with the Unas. Goa' ulds have a civilization feudal and based on slavery. It there has 10.000 years, Râ, 1st of them, arrived on Earth where it took possession of a young Egyptian. He founded old Egypt, his culture, his religion, invented the hiéroglyphes, made build the temples and pyramids and installed a Door of Stars in Egypt. Other Goa' uld made in the same way, each one taking the name of a human god: Anubis, Baal, Yu, Cronos, Sekhmet to quote some of them. They are made pass for Gods and venerate like such to easily control their human slaves and Jaffas. The Empire Goa' uld was then spread in all our Galaxy, destroying all recontrées lower extraterrestrial civilizations. Million human was off-set on hundreds of planets during millenia. The Jaffas serve the human soldiers, and to them slaves. 3000 years before JC, the Land ones (called Tau' laughed in language Goa' uld) understood that they were not Gods, and revolted, burying the Door of Stars. The Earth being deprived of Naquadah, the ore which is at the base of all technology Goa' uld, they started from our planet. In 1994, Jack O' Neill and Daniel Jackson killed Râ on Abydos. The unit of the Empire was finished, other Goa' ulds, called Grand Masters, entered an internal war without mercy to have the supreme capacity. That weakened them much. Moreover, the Earth encouraged the revolts of slaves in their proving that their Masters were not Gods, destabilizing the Empire. To finish, a rebellion of Jaffas free convinced of the not-divinity of their Masters was born, under the impulse of Teal' C, a warrior Jaffa rejoined with the Earth. This rebellion increased year by year, until representing a serious threat for Large the Masters. In 2004, the Empire Goa' uld, already very weakened by its civil war and its defeats vis-a-vis the Earth and in Jaffas Libres is attacked and almost destroyed by the Réplicateurs. The latter were overcome during the battle of Dakara but the Empire crumbled definitively. Indeed, the Large-Masters could not prevent the catch of the temple of Dakara, the place more crowned religion goa' uld, by Jaffas Libres, which proved definitively that Goa' ulds are not Gods. Since, the majority of them died and the others in escape, trying to be made forget. Some are hidden in remote colonies where the news of their defeat did not come from.

; Warriors Kulls: The Kulls Warriors were created by Anubis, with a possible aim to replace Jaffas. They have armours which resist the weapons with energy

; Gadmeers: Gadmeers are a very advanced race whose metabolism is based on sulfur. Exterminated on their planet of origin, they built the vessel terraformor. The mission of the vessel was to find a planet suitable and to modify it so that it can accommodate Gadmeers. The vessel also contained Gadmeer knowledge acquired during more than 10.000 years as well as the samples making it possible to recreate all the ecosystem of a planet. The vessel chooses P5S-381. Unfortunately, this planet was occupied recently by Enkarans. But thanks to SG-1 and in Lotan (a robot " négociateur" created by the vessel for parlementer), a solution was found: the vessel brought back Enkarans on their world of origin and since began again the process of terraformation, destroying the Door of Stars of planet.

; Hébridans: human civilization advanced, of Celtic origin. They form a single nation with the Serrakins. Their planet belongs completely to Teckcon industries. They organize every year a great race in their solar system

; Jaffa: Race created to serve the Goa' uld and to be used to them as incubators. They are the human ones genetically modified which carries a symbion Goa' uld in their ventral pocket. They have a force and an extraordinary longevity and are used soldiers for Goa' ulds. Since the collapse of the impérium Goa' uld, they form a free nation, but have evil to live independent after millenia of tender. They can be now released from the symbions thanks to the trétonine, which replaces the larvae Goa' uld completely

; Nox: Peaceful people having very an high technology which they refuse to put at the profit violence. They are able to be made invisible, and they are capable of ressussiter their deaths. Member of the alliance of the 4 races.

; Ori: Enemy race of raised beings, resulting from the same people as the Old ones. See the detailed article. They oblige whole people to venerate them.

; Réplicateurs: Species of spiders and metal crabs, which destroy all technological civilizations met to retort itself. They practically destroyed the civilization of the Asgards, several times failed to invade the Earth (destruction of a Russian nuclear submarine with which they were retorted). They almost destroyed Goa' ulds into 2004 before being eliminated at the time of the battle of Dakara. They were carried out by practically indestructibles réplicateurs humanoides.

; Serrakin: Technologically advanced race, having the appearance of reptiles humanoïdes.

; laughed Tau': Human of the Earth. They are called " Tau' ri" in language Goa' uld. ; Tok' ruffle: Tok' ruffle belong to the race of Goa' uld but constitute some a dissenting part. The symbions amalgamate only with human volunteers and divide their body. They fought during 2000 years against the goa' ulds, and are in the process of disappearance today. ; Tollan: Race the human ones having a technology more advanced than the Goa' uld.

; Unas: Primitive but powerful and robust race extraterrestrial. Unas were the first hosts Goa' ulds.

; Voliens: Populate member of the Aschen Confederation.

; Wraiths: Race nourishing vital energy of human, and which led the Old ones to flee the galaxy of PEGASE. Wraiths are technologically advanced, they have several kinds of vessels but does not have the technology of the shield.
