Penitentiary review and of criminal law
History
The penitentiary Re-examined and of criminal law (known as also RPDP) is an scientific magazine specialized in criminal sciences and execution of the sorrows. Founded at the end of the 19th century by the very influential General society of the prisons and criminal legislation (created in 1875), it was the News bulletin, the RPDP played, until the beginning of the 20th century, an important role in the definition of the penal standards and the creation of the French penitentiary mode.
Today
Published since 1998 by the Editions Cujas, the RPDP appears at a rate of 4 numbers per annum.
As at its beginnings, the RPDP counts among his/her collaborators the best French specialists in the criminal and penitentiary right.
Its Scientific director is Professor Jean Pradel (University of Poitiers). Its Editor association is Professor André Varinard (University Lyon 3).
