Peninsula of Rhuys

The peninsula of Rhuys is located in the Département of Morbihan (56) in the area Brittany (France)

Geographical location

The peninsula of Rhuys is a ground projection attached to the littoral of Brittany southern. It forms the Golfe of Morbihan. It is located vis-a-vis the islands of Houat and Hoedïc like to the Presqu'île of Quiberons.

Communes

There are three communes on the peninsula:
  • Sarzeau, largest (50% of the surface of the peninsula) and it is the chief town of the canton.
  • Arzon .
  • Saint-Gildas-with-Rhuys
