Peniculid

Howick is a municipality of village in the regional Municipalité of county of the High-Saint-Laurent to the Quebec, located in the administrative area of the Montérégie.

The name Howick appears the first time in 1851 with the opening of a homonymous post office. Later, in 1915, the bourgarde is officially named municipality. In the past, Howickois resided at George' S Mill , because George Ellice, then wire of the lord of Beauharnois Alexandre Ellice, built a mill at this place.
