Pelat mount
The mount Pelat , is a top located in the chain of the the Alps, within the Massif of Pelat, in the Alp-of-High-Provence (France), upstream of the valley the Top Var. This top is also located in the central zone of the National park of Mercantour. It is the 3 000 famous like easiest of the the Alps of the South.
The Pelat mount is a top Calcaire. It dominates the imposing site of the Lac of Ales.
The normal way of access passes by the combe of Pelat, located at the West of the top, at the beginning of the Lac of Ales or the Col of Cayolle. The path, although a little air towards the arrival, does not present a particular difficulty. At the top, the panorama extends in clear weather from the Montagne Holy-Victoire until the Mont Blanc.
