Peep show

A Peep show is, in English, a spectacle seen through an opening.
In French however, that indicates more specifically of the erotic or pornographic spectacles (striptease, scenes with sexual character). Certain bars propose this kind of spectacles, as well as Sex-shop.
In English, the direction is broader and at the same time indicates a spectacle (alive or photographic) seen through an opening for only one observer (moreover peephole in English indicates our optical Judas and the peephole kinetoscope indicates the Kinétoscope, an ancestor of the cinematograph).
