Pedals (bicycle)

On a bicycle, the pedals allow the transmission of the movement between the legs and the wheel.
It is composed of pedals and Manivelle S.
Historically, it was in direct catch on the front wheel axle, but it was quickly installed in bottom of the framework, with a site more favorable to the pédalage, in catch on a plate, making it possible to involve a chain with a selected reduction.
