Pearson (edition)

Pearson is a British group of professional edition.

It is the most important book publisher in Great Britain, India, Australia and New Zealand, and the second with the the United States and the Canada.

Book publisher, Pearson is also owner of newspapers, of which most known in the world is the Financial Times . In France, the group has the economic daily newspaper the Echoes , currently in the course of transfer by Pearson (December 2006).

Division " Education" has a subsidiary company in France, Pearson Education France, which publishes works in several collections, in particular CampusPress.

Pearson Language Assessments is a new branch of industry of the Pearson group dedicated to the evaluation of language. Pearson Language Assessments develops examinations to evaluate and accredit the level of learning in English foreign language, such as the London Tests off English and London Tests off English for Children in partnership with Edexcel (a Pearson company).
