Perles ( Pieterlen in German) is a common Switzerland Canton of Bern, located in the District of Büren.

Although the commune is not officially bilingual since the official language is German, the French-speaking population represents a small minority of 4% of the total population.

This factor is due to the fact that Perles is in a strongly bilingual area of the Canton of Bern, namely the Zeeland.
