the peace of Buczacz was signed the October 18th 1672 with Buczacz between the Union of Poland-Lithuania and the Ottoman Empire. The king Michał Korybut Wiśniowiecki, incompetent to fight the Turkish armies of the invaders, yields territories to them and agrees to pour to them an annual tribute of 22000 Thaler S.
