Peace of Arras

The peace of Arras is signed between the envoys of Jean without Peur, duke of Burgundy and Louis de Guyenne representing his father Charles VI of France which again, had sunk in a crisis of insanity. It is a truce in the Civil war between Armagnacs and Burgundian. Concerning the unit of the kingdom and peace, the thoughts of Louis de Guyenne went in the same direction as those of his/her father.

The September 4th 1414, it signs peace and makes lend oath to the prelates, with the large lords of the royal army to respect this peace. The port of the Cross of Saint-Andrew and the white band ranges respectively by the Burgundian ones and the Armagnacs was prohibited. On the order of Louis de Guyenne the Burgundian words and Armagnacs were banished kingdom, it was formally interdict to pronounce them.
