Pbx1
PBX1 is a Homéoprotéine which can act like factor of transcription on various promoters of which some cardiac and others testiculaires. At the human one there is only PBX1, while in the mice there exists PBX1a and PBX1b which come from same the Gène but which has undergoes an alternate épissage. There exists also PBX2, PBX3 and PBX4.
The proteins PBX have the property to join the proteins HOX.
