Pawel Edelman is a Chef operator Polish born with Łódź the June 26th 1958. He was the director of the photography in particular on the Pianist of Roman Polanski which opened to him the doors of Hollywood and for which he was rewarded for a European Award in 2002, of a César in 2003. For this film, it was also named with the Oscars. In 2005, it off receives a nomination at the Price of the best photography of the American Society Cinematographers for its work on Ray of Taylor Hackford. The same year, Edelman finds Polanski for its adaptation of the novel of Charles Dickens: Oliver Twist .
