Pavel Tchistiakov
Pavel Petrovitch Tchistiakov (in) (° Oblast de Tver, on July 5th, 1832 (June 23rd) - † Pouchkine, on November 11th, 1919), is a painter and Russian professor, a Master of historical painting and portrait.
Biography
Pavel is born in a modest family of origin but his/her father wants to give him a good formation; he thus begins his studies in an itinerant school.In 1849, it enters to the imperial Académie of the fine arts of Saint-Pétersbourg where he is the pupil of professor P. Watt Basin until 1861.
During these studies with the Academy, it was several times distinguished for this work such as the Hermogène patriarch in prison (ПатриархГермогенвтемнице), the large duchess Sofia Vitovtovna with the marriage of large prince Vasili Temnoï (ВеликаякнягиняСофьяВитовтовнанасвадьбевеликогокнязяВасилияТемного) and, under boarder of the Academy, it is authorized to travel abroad.
He teaches at the Art school of the company of encouragement of applied arts of Pétersbourg Saint of 1860 to 1863.
He leaves Russia in 1863, visit Germany, works in Paris and to Rome then returns to Saint Pétersbourg in 1870 and receives the title of academician for his works carried out abroad like the Roman beggar (Римскийнищий), the head of Chouchara (Головачучарки), French with the public ball (Француз, собирающийсянапубличныйбал).
