Pauline Julien

Pauline Julien (Three-Rivers, May 23rd 1928 - Montreal, October 1st 1998) is a singer, Compositrice and actress Québécois E.

Marry Poète and Député Gerald Godin, it was an eminent figure Féministe and Nationaliste. It recorded songs with the Chansonnier Gilles Vigneault. Among his successes one finds Manic , composed by Georges Dor, which spoke about love and insulation with Manicouagan, an area surrounding the Rivière of the same name in the north of the Quebec, close to the Labrador.

Reached degenerative aphasia and not being able more to sing, it is committed suicide.

Biography

Pauline Julien is the junior by a family cash eleven children, established with Three-Rivers and later with Cape-of-the-Madeleine.
