Pauline Auzou

Pauline Auzou (Paris 1775 - Paris 1835) is a French painter . it is a pupil of Jacques-Louis David, before it had attended the workshop of Jean-Baptiste Regnault.

Born Jeanne-Marie-Catherine Desmarquest , she added to her name that of the Vault, patronym of the cousin who had adopted it, and used the first name of Pauline.

The 19 Frimaire An II (December 9th 1793) it marries Charles-Marie Auzou, paper maker. It is with them that Jacques Augustin Catherine Pajou and his wife will buy in 1820 a country house to Fontenay-Aux-Roses.
