Paulette Guinchard is a French political woman, born the October 3rd 1949 with Reugney (Doubs) It was Député PS of the second district of the Doubs, ex Secretary of State to the elderly of the Gouvernement Lionel Jospin and ex vice-president of the National Assembly, member of the PS and member of the Municipal council of Besancon

Biography

1949 the October 3rd, it is born with Reugney in the Doubs to 40 km in the south from Besancon beside Ornans. Exit of a modest family made up of eight children.
It very early engages with the Christian Jeunesse agricultural in parallel of its studies in economy and joined in 1969 the Socialist party unified of Michel Rocard then in 1986 with the PS of François Mitterrand or are already registered much its close relations.
It is saleswoman in a Besancon-native Librairie and member of the CFDT with a view to improve the work conditions and remunerations of the employees.
It is reconverted into the trade of Infirmière in Psychiatrie in specialized establishment near children Autiste S then responsible for formation for the care with the elderly.
1983 Robert Schwint, Maire of Besancon since 1977 proposes to him the station of assistant with the environment until in 1989 then it becomes regional adviser of opposition
1997 it is elected Député of the second district of the Doubs to the legislative elections
1999 the Gouvernement Lionel Jospin the load of the report/ratio “To age in France: stakes and needs for a new political orientation in direction of the elderly in loss of autonomy”
2001 it is named Secretary of State to the elderly on proposal of Martine Aubry, Ministre of the Emploi and of the Solidarité
2002 it is re-elected at its post of Député and is elected vice-president of the National Assembly, load which it shares in alternation with Helene Mignon appointed Haute-Garonne
2005 the March 8th, for the international Journée of the woman, it could, with title exceptional, to chair the National Assembly during the sixty televised minutes of the meeting of the questions of the parliamentary the Government.
It takes part in work of the club Réformer, political think tank animated by Martine Aubry.
It makes the decision in December 2006 not to be candidate for the legislative elections of 2007.
