Paule Maurice

Paule Maurice , born with Paris in 1910 and deceased in Paris in 1967, was a French Compositrice.

It made its musical studies with the Conservatoire of Paris. It had as Masters Jean Gallon (harmony), No5el Gallon (counterpoint and Fugue) and Henri Busser ( composition). Répétitrice of Jean Gallon as of the 23 years age, it made of many pupils of which some are titular Prix of Rome. Starting from 1942, it was titular of a class of deciphering. It is also the author, with her husband Pierre Lantier of a treaty of harmony, works teaching of use in a great number of French and foreign schools.
