Paula Poundstone

Paula Poundstone born the December 29th 1959 with Huntsville (Alabama) is an American humorist. She is known for her calm, her direction of car-derision and its observations on the policy and its costume and its tie which characterizes it on television American where she intervenes on the problems of the every day and presents them in the form of comedy.

Life

The family of Poundstone moved with Sudbury in the Massachusetts when it was young. She adopted its first child, in 1993. In 1997, it adopted two girls, Toshia and Allison. She was an adoptive mother for several children, but she cannot from now on provide this care following her arrest, since the loads were however abandoned.

Career

Poundstone attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, but it left for poursuvre its own career. She exerted various odd jobs in particular messenger with bicycle.

She began in stand-up comedy in bars open the night to Boston in 1979 then in California. In 1984, Poundstone was selected for a film, Hyperspace but it did not follow the career which opened with it. In the place, it became more known for its comedies and started to appear in several talk shows. In 1989, it gained a reward, the American Comedy Award, for " Best Female Comic" Stand-Up;. In 1990, she wrote with HBO Special Cats, Cops and Stuff and gained CableACE Award for the show. She works on the political correspondences for the show of the evening of presidential of 1992 and made in the same way for Turned pink O'Donnell Show in 1996.
