Paul de Beauvilliers , wire of François Honorat de Beauvilliers, (1648 - 1714).
It reconciled the regard of Louis XIV by his austere virtues. The king named it in 1685 president of the Conseil of finances, and the education of the young dolphin entrusted to him, Louis Duc of Burgundy, then that of the Duc of Anjou (future Philippe V of Spain), and of the duke of Berry. Beauvilliers associated Fénelon, of which he became the friend and to which there remained faithful in his disgrace. He was in 1691 member of the Conseil of in top.
