Paul Sarbanes
Paul Spyros Sarbanes (born in 1933) is a American Politician , member of the Democratic party and senator of the Maryland to the Congrès of the United States of 1977 with 2007.
Paul Sarbanes was born the February 3rd 1933 with Salisbury, Maryland, wire of immigrant parents of Greece.
Graduate of Princeton in 1954, it obtained a school purse Rhodos to study with Oxford, then finishes his studies at the school of right of Harvard.
In 1966, Sarbanes is elected with the room of delegated of Maryland.
In 1970, it is elected with the Chambre of the Representatives of the United States, re-elected in 1972 and 1974, year when it writes the first article of the procedure of Impeachment against the president Richard Nixon.
In 1976, Sarbanes is elected with the Sénat of the United States beating the republican senator outgoing John Glenn Beall Jr.. Sarbanes will be re-elected in 1982, 1988, 1994 and 2000.
In 2005, Sarbanes announces its decision not to represent in 2006.
Sarbanes, of Greek religion orthodoxe, is married since 1960 with Christine Dunbar, native of Brighton in England. They have three children and six grandchildren.
