Paul Raymond (born in 1859 with Pont-Saint-Esprit, Gard - died in 1944) was a doctor and a prehistorian French. He was the founder of the French prehistoric Société in 1904.

Its birthplace paid homage to Paul Raymond by devoting a museum to him - the Paul-Raymond museum - installed in the old Town hall builds in 1832 - 1833.
