Paul Preyat

Paul Preyat, born on January 16th, 1892 with Paris and dead on September 24th, 1968 with Joinville-le-Pont, was a sculptor and painter French.

Career

  • Studies at the National school of decorative arts
  • 1912 - Paris: Grand Prix of honor and except contest of decorative Arts.
  • 1912 - Paris: money medal of the Company of encouragement with Article
  • 1912: Receipt at the School of the fine arts.
  • 1913 : Dilpômé with the contest of Industries of Art
  • 1914 - 1915: sergeant machine gunner of infantry, wounded with the leg and the arm on October 9th, 1915. Amputee of the right-hand man.
  • 1920: professor with the Conferences of the department of the Seine
  • 1921: exposure to the Living room of the French artists
  • 1923: creation of the section of beautiful-atrs of the Fraternal Union of War wounded which will become later " Samothrace". President-founder
  • 1924: contribution to “the School at the hospital” with Salpétrière.
  • 1925 : Found the Association of the artists disabled ex-serviceman
  • 1926: Living room of independent the
  • 1927: first exposure to the Magellan gallery, inaugurated by the Edouard Herriot
  • 1928: first Living room of the artists mutilated with the gantries of the Fields-Élysées, inaugurated by the president of the Republic Gaston Doumergue, the president of the Council Raymond Poincaré and the Minister for the Pensions Marine Louis.
  • 1928 - Nice: gold medal with the Exposure of the fine arts.
  • 1928 : Launch the idea of the creation of the " city-museum of the Mutilés" Artists; in Paris
  • 1929: second Living room with the town hall of Paris.
  • 1933 : elected official chair National federation of the Severely wounded persons and Mutilated reached multiple infirmities of the Great War.
  • 1958 : exposure to the Museum of Modern art.
  • 1961 : gold medal " Art-science-Lettres"
  • 1965 : Living room of the mutilated and war wounded Artists with the museum of Modern arts
