Paul Marmet

Paul Marmet (May 20th 1932 with Lévis, Quebec - May 20th 2005 with Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian Physicien . He is the promoter of a theory which makes useless the theories of the relativity. He is also the author of a radical criticism of the interpretation of Copenhagen of the quantum mechanical .

Biography

He has a baccalaureat in sciences of the Université Laval (1956) and a doctorate in sciences of the same university (1960). He carried out one year of studies postdoctorales to CSIRO with Melbourne, Australia.

From 1961 to 1984, it occupies various stations at the Laval University: Professor incorporated, enquiring professor and full professor. From 1967 to 1982, he is director at the atomic and molecular Physics laboratory department of physics.

From 1984 to 1991, it is agent of research senior for the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysique to the National council of research of Canada (CNRC).

It took part in the promotion of the establishment of the astronomical first Télescope of research in Quebec. It also took part in the project of the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope.

Theory

According to Marmet, it is enough to use the physics of Newton, the system of coordinated Galileo and traditional mechanics to obtain all the results obtained by the Relativité, making this one useless. He also put forth the assumption of an interaction photon-matter producing a “red shift” which would enter in contradiction with the official explanation of the “red shift” of the galaxies and which would invalidate the theory of Big Bang.

According to him, the available data allow inférer that the quasars are much more close to us that does not let it suppose their strong shift towards the red; their luminosity would be about that of the normal galaxies, but the relation between distance and luminosity is not the same one for the quasars as for the galaxies; Marmet is based on these elements to privilege the model of the universe eternal, infinite and flat.
