Paul Levy (ethnologist)

Paul Levy (Saigon 1909 - Névian 1998) is a Ethnologue French. Its research field relates to the Southeast Asia, and more specifically the Vietnam and the Laos.

Member of the French School of the Far East, he will be the director of 1947 with 1950. Before that, it will have been preserving section prehistory and ethnology of the Museum Louis Finot in Hanoi, and creates, with Huart, the Indochinese Institute for the study of the Man.
