Paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins (born the December 6th 1965) is a British scenario writer of comics, who mainly worked for Marvel Comics.

It in particular scénarisé The Incredible Hulk and Wolverine for Marvel, Hellblazer for the label Vertigo of cd. Comics, the first title which drew the attention to him to the US market of the Comic S.

He and the draftsman Jae Lee are responsible for the series Inhumans published under the label Marvel Knights, which was a great success, encensée by the criticism, and for which the scenario writer received a Eisner Award. Jenkins and Lee also created jointly The Sentry , a pseudo Superman which was the subject of a mini-series under the label Marvel Knights promoted using one promotional mystification. This character is from now on a member of the New Avengers.

In 2001 it collaborated with the draftsman Andy Kubert on the mini-series of 6 episodes " Origin" who revealed for the first time the origins of Wolverine. This title was one of the largest sales of Marvel this year there. To buckle the loop Jenkins also carried out with the draftsman Claudio Castellini the mini-series Wolverine: The End .

Jenkins was also in load of the relaunching of the universe Top Cow and the restarting of the series The Darkness .

It scénarise currently the mini-series Revelations drawn by the draftsman Humberto Ramos, with whom he had launched the series The Spectacular Spider-Man Vol.2. Benefitting from the return of Sentry in the series New Avengers , it scénarise a series which is devoted to him, whose first episodes are drawn by John Romita Jr.

Jenkins is also a prolific creator in the sector of the video games, and worked on several known titles Legacy off Kain , Twisted Metal: Black and God off War . More recently, Paul is credited as scenario writer with Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction , created with Radical Ranges.
