Paul Jansen (September 12th 1926, Turnhout, Belgium - November 11th 2003, Rome, Italy) is a creative Pharmacologue of the series of the butyrophenomists, substances Neuroleptique S for antipsychotic purpose, of which most famous is the famous Halopéridol. These discoveries were worth the price to him CINP-Pfizer Pionniers of Psychopharmacology in 2000

It also founded Jansen Farmaceutica in 1953.
