Paul Duhem
Paul Duhem , born with Blandain in 1919 and died in 1999 is a Belgian painter .
Biography
The young boy is raised by his grandparents. He leaves the school at fourteen years, then is engaged as farmhand in various agricultural expoitations. He faces the war which, of wounds in deportations, lead it to the Asile.In 1978, it is allowed in a hearth where it devotes the essence of its time to work of Jardinage. Twelve years later, at the seventy years age, it gives up the horticulture for the Dessin which it practices within the framework of a workshop.
Paul Duhem devotes himself to this activity with assuidity, working without discontinuity until his death. The human fig and the doors constitute the recurring reasons for its compositions.
Its work is present in many collections private and public and he knew of sound living the honors of a retrospective to the Collection of rough art with Lausanne.
